The University of Oregon has been a participant of the Woolmark Performance Challenge since its inception in 2018, and – incredibly – seven of its students have been selected as finalists across the

years.

Woolmark interviewed Susan Sokolowski, Founding Director and Professor of the Sports Product Design Graduate Program, to learn more about the program and gain insights into their approach to

entering WPC.

Recent SPD graduate, Jenny Null, was featured in an article by the Outdoor Women's Alliance on her capstone project, redesigning uniforms for female park rangers.

AHFE paper titled “Investigation of 3D Functional Grip Shape to 
Design Products for Dog Walking and Hiking,” written by Dr. Susan Sokolowski, Jenny Null and Chrissy Bettencourt won a best paper award at the 2020 annual conference.
